Beer Festival in the Negev

The Ramon Inn, located on the cliff edge of Ramon crater in the Negev desert, will host, this month, the first Negev Beer Festival (weekend of March 27-29). You are all invited to escape the rat-race, leave the city behind and enter the desert state of mind. Visitors will get a chance to clear their minds with excellent beer from several Israeli boutique breweries and gourmet food by famous Israeli chef, Avi Berman (Elimelekh restaurant, TLV). Side dishes will include jeep tours in the magnificent Ramon Crater, hiking and crystal clear sky dotted with countless shining stars. Those staying in the Ramon Inn will be able to enjoy the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, spa and many desert related activities offered by the hotel.

A personal recommendation by Isragirl: When visiting the Ramon Crater check out what’s going on at ADAMA. Situated at Mitzpe Ramon and overlooking the crater, this extraordinary hangar, home of the Liat Dror and Nir Ben-Gal dance company, will make your visit an unforgettable one. You don’t have to be a dance buff to enjoy an evening at Adama, let the desert atmosphere in, relax and get carried away by the imaginative world of these unique desert artists.

  1. Dear Isragirl,
Wanted to link to your blog and report about this beer festival in the Negev this weekend but not finding much else about it online. Wanted to find out about more for my e-newsletter this week. You have any contact people with which to talk to? What beers are being served – any special local ones, etc?
