In case you were wondering what was written in the end on the map – well its Shana Tova, which means Good Year in Hebrew (this is what you should say to every Jew you speak to, till next Wednesday).
Few tips for the holiday in case you are in Israel:
1. Try to get an invitation to celebrate with a local family at their home. The hotel food is great but for a genuine holiday atmosphere you will need to be hosted by an Israeli household.
2. Dont eat too much if you plane on clubbing later on that night. Excellent parties will take place everywhere especially in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Eilat and Jerusalem and in Kibbutz pubs and clubs across the country.
3. Some of the best outdoor parties take place on the Jewish New Year’s Eve. If you like Trance music this is your night – and with the perfect weather we have here now you cant afford to miss on the opportunity to party in the Negev or in the Galilee…Enter the internet and start looking – you may need assistant from a friend who reads Hebrew.
4. Full on Gay parties will take place that night as well – Go to Shenkin St. on Mon. around noon and start asking around, or go to the gay beach this weekend and ask around.
5. Enjoy the holiday and keep in mind that traffic can be havey during the holiday eve. and days.

Tel Aviv Port – Summer Fun 4 Everyone….

Tel Aviv is all about fun, for Kids, adults and hormonal youngsters

Check out this lovely photo-clip of Tel Aviv, its very personal, and even touching. As it wasn’t made by some tourism oriented director, it shows Tel Aviv as it really is: beautiful architecture along side buildings that need urgent renovations, fantastic beaches, neighboring less attractive streets… The bottom line, though, is that Tel Aviv is super fun city to live in and a very special place to visit.

Party on Tel Aviv

The big secret is out – Tel Aviv (TLV), the secular and sane capitol of Israel, is a great place to party. It has excellent weather – so leaving your house/hotel is not a big deal, it has plenty of mind-blowing clubs, friendly people that love to party, superb local and international DJs and lots of good vibes.
Why do Israelis like to party so much? Some say that life in stressful Middle East is a good trigger; other suggest that after the army service Israelis need to indulge them selves in order to forget…and it takes a long time to forget… Maybe, Who knows? The fact is that parties in Israel are wild and if you are planning a trip to Israel attending at least one party is a must, just like visiting Jerusalem or the Dead Sea.
Outdoor festivals and raves season starts around April and carry on till the end of October. DJs from around the world come here and with our Mediterranean sun – an Israeli outdoor rave is a sheer pleasure. If Trance is not your thing – a long list of clubs awaits you in TLV and surly will put a smile on your face. Brilliant parties take place every night of the week with Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays being the major clubbing nights. We start our Parties late, around 1am, and we go on till the last person on the dance floor falls.
Alcohol is legal from 18 years of age, but that doesn’t suggest that you will find 18 year-olds in those clubs. Well maybe – if they are very attractive girls… Drugs are not legal but are easy to find – like anywhere else. And, like anywhere else, it helps to know a local in order to score… Pockets and bags are checked at the entrance by security for weapons and drugs – so be smart and patient. There is no dress code and you can show off anything you could possibly want – but you know club selection, don’t you? They’re always looking for the good-looking….As for smoking, unfortunately a no smoking law has passed recently, so you’ll need to stamp your arm and go outside should you fancy a smoke.

Coming to Israel? Pack your parting gear – as you’ll need it!!!

“Purim” is coming up ( March) – Get ready for the wildest parties of the Year. Israel will dress up in costumes, Alcohol for every one (so commends the Bible) and Tel Aviv will party like there’s no tomorrow
