HaTamar Festival by the Dead Sea – STARTING TODAY!!!! OCT 15!!!! Live music by the magnificent Dead Sea, well worth the hassle of making the way to the lowest point in the world (an hour or so out of Jerusalem, two and a half hours out of Tel Aviv). All concerts are Out-Door concerts….Most of them will take place at the beautiful Zohar Creek near Neve Zohar and the sunrise concerts will take place on the Masada mountain. Wednesday, Oct 15, 9pm – Opening concert by Kobi Aflalo, followed by Yehuda Poliker.
Thursady, Oct 16, 9pm – Opening concert by Alma Zohar, followed by Mosh Ben-Ari hosting Beri Sakharoff.
Friday, Oct 17, 10pm – Yehudit Ravitz celebrating 20 years to “Ba’aa MeAhava” (coming from love), with special guest-friend Gidi Gov.
Saturday, Oct 18, 10pm – Opening concert by the brilliant Assaf Avidan, followed by the “Natasha’s Friends” reunion, celebrating 20 years to their first album.
Sunday, Oct 19, 9pm – The one and only Ehud Banaai will keep his devoted followers on their feet for three hours, till they reach a cosmic or religious enlightening…..

Wed, Oct 15, 3:30 AM - David Broza (Masada Special);
Thur, Oct 16, 3:30 AM – Evyatar Banaai (Night as day will shine);
Fri, Oct 17, 3:30 AM – Shalom Hanokh and Moshe Levi.
All three are great, and as far as I know there are no tickets left for the sun rise concerts, but you are always welcome to try.
