OMG, you got to watch this awesome video taken by few Israelis who like to fly…. Ignore the noise at the beginning, when they take off (about 15 seconds after the video starts) a new soundtrack enters the picture – and a very good one too (Perfect Day by Lou Reed). While watching this great little sky trip around the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) you’ll see the Arbel Mountain (too bad you don’t get a good view of its impressive cliff), the village of Karnei Hitim, Mount of the Beatitudes, Amood (Pillar) canyon, Capernaum, the outflow of the Jordan river into the Sea of Galilee and later on, near Kibbutz Degania and Kibbutz Kinneret – out of the Sea of Galilee heading south towards the Dead Sea. You will see the Luna Gal water park and beach, Kibbutzs Ein Gev and HaOn sitting comfortably on the lake’s eastern shore and a whole lot of clear blue Galilee sky. Enjoy this beautiful trip around the lower Galilee and maybe book one of those on your next trip to Israel. If you do, ask why this heavenly tour skips Tiberias (the capitol of the Lower Galilee) and Safed (over looking the Kinneret from the north-west hills surrounding the lake).
