Summer is definitely here, the beaches are getting growing attention and a short stroll on Tel Aviv promenade will be just as pleasing to the eye as the video posted above. Yes, sexy Israeli girls (and some boys) are taking out their swimsuits and slowly making their way to the nearest beach they can find.

The Israeli slang term for good-looking-sexy-girl is: Kussit (or Koossit). This is the singular form, for plural, say: Kussi-yot (many Kussit). It comes from the word “Kuss” which means cunt or pussy. But unlike those two words it doesn’t have a negative or a dirty meaning. Still, Kuss is slang, the proper word for the female vagina is: Nartik. So, while calling some one “cunt” in English is not so nice…calling someone “Kussit” in Hebrew, is actually flattering. Not so long ago it had a sexist flavor to it, but these days I cant think of any women (even above 50) who will be offended if you said that she was a “Kussit”.
