
The Comics market of Tel Aviv is back:
Following a short brake of a few months the Comics market is back in the city. You are all invited to this fun gathering of Comics nerds at Dizingoff Center – a big shopping mall at the heart of Tel Aviv (Friday, March 29th 10:30am – 15:30pm). Organized by Comickasa comics store, this wonderful gathering provides a unique opportunity for comics lovers to buy, swap and sell comics from their personal collection as well as trade jokes normal people will not understand. To celebrate the occasion Comickasa will offer many magazines for the amazing price of 1 new Israeli shekel (20 US cents). Dolls, T-shirts and other merchandise will await the comics freaks as well. Entrance is forbidden to commercial companies and professional Comic traders. Entrance is free. Those who wish to open a stall will need to offer over 50 Comics magazine for sale. And another thing about comics: If you are a real comics buff, you should consider a trip to the Israeli Comics and Caricature Museum. Located in Holon, 15 minutes drive from Tel Aviv, this museum opened its gates recently and it offers a rare glimpse of Israeli culture, life, history and politics trough the sharp eyes and twisted minds of talented illustrators. Location: 61 Whaitzman St. Holon. Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat 10am-1pm, Tues., Thur 5pm-8pm Entrance: Adults 10 NIS (3 US Dollars), Kids 5 NIS, under five-year-old – free
